SKILLS:

1. Attending to all patients presenting to the Emergency Department, triaging them based on their hemodynamic stability and providing acute care.
2. Stabilizing the airway – have performed more than 130 endotracheal intubations (including video laryngoscope), use of airway adjuncts like stilette, bougie and supraglottic airway devices.
3. Ventilator management for all patients on endotracheal tube.
4. Central venous access (more than 50) – Subclavian CVC (without guidance), IJV CVC (with and without USG guidance), Femoral CVC (with and without Ultrasound guidance) and Peripherally inserted catheter (USG guided).
5. Arterial cannulation – Radial and Femoral ( with and without ultrasound guidance) in Intensive Care Unit for monitoring blood pressure and ABG sampling.
6. ECG interpretation and prompt management for unstable patients with medical management and cardio version/defibrillation.
7. Performed needle thoracostomy and tube thoracostomy  in patients with tension pneumothorax and pneumohemothorax respectively in trauma patients. Also performed thoracocentesis in patients with gross pleural effusion.
8. Performed many number of abdominal paracentesis – both diagnostic and therapeutic paracentesis.
9. Management of patients presenting with:
   1. Trauma – Polytrauma, Head injuries, blunt injuries – chest and abdomen, penetrating injuries – chest and abdomen, fractures and their appropriate splinting.
   2. Resuscitation – Cardiac arrest, Anaphylaxis, Respiratory Failure
   3. Medical – Acute Febrile Illness, Pyelonephritis, Dyselectrolytemia, Meningitis, Pulmonary edema, Sepsis
   4. Cardiac – Myocardial Infarction, Acute Decompensated heart failure, Arrhythmias
   5. Surgical – Intestinal Obstruction, Necrotizing Fasciitis, Skin and soft tissue infection, Appendicitis

   7. Gynecology – Ectopic pregnancy ,PID etc.
   8. Obstetrics – Miscarriage, Ante partum Hemorrhage, postpartum hemorrhage and postpartum sepsis.

10. Basic Ultrasound screening-
    1. eFAST– for free fluid in abdomen and thorax in patients with trauma
    2. Cardiac ECHO – cardiac contractility, screening for Pulmonary embolism
    3. Pulmonary and IVC screening – for evaluating fluid responsiveness in a patient with hypotension/ shock
    4. RUSH – to evaluate the etiology of hypotension and shock in a non-trauma patient
    5. Lung Screening – for detection of pneumothorax & pulmonary edema
